This website ( started 29 Sept 00) contains F-106 information submitted by F-106 fans. Sacramento was the repair center for the F-106 all during its long career and I'm sure there is a lot of information out there that will make this a very interesting website. I spent many TDYs at McClellan AFB over my career as a MA-1 Technician from 1959 to 1979. My last 6 &1/2 years was at HqADC/LGMWA, Colorado Springs, where I had the opportunity to work with all the ALCs on almost a daily basis. |
Thanks to retired Convair Rep. Joe Sylvia, I'm kicking this website off with the photographic history of the F-106 Broadjump/Dartboard Program. Anyone else wishing to contribute information is encouraged to do so by contacting me , Erv Smalley. |
Also, visit my "F-106 Survivors" & "F-106 Lineage" websites. Hopefully, now that the QF-106 Drone Program is over, McClellan's Museum can get one of the survivors sitting in the sun at Tucson for their own display F-106. |
